Born and raised in Akron, Ohio, Anthony Ely brings dedication, heart, and a strong desire to make a difference in his community through his work in HVAC. He chose this industry to learn a skill that would truly benefit others, and that passion shows in every service call he completes. Anthony studied at Stark State College, gaining the technical knowledge and hands-on training that now power his success as a service technician. What drew him to Quality Heating & Cooling? “The caring team,” he says. “Everyone here is focused on helping each other grow and succeed.” When he’s not solving comfort issues for customers, Anthony enjoys following professional wrestling, spending time with his two sisters and brother, and cheering for his favorite football team—Go Browns! Anthony is proud to be part of the Team Quality family, serving customers with knowledge, reliability, and a smile.

Hailing from Hudson, Anthony Vittorio brings strong problem-solving skills, hands-on experience, and a passion for learning to his role as an HVAC Service Technician at Quality Heating & Cooling. Anthony was drawn to the HVAC industry because of its ever-growing demand and long-term stability. He saw an opportunity to build a meaningful career in a field that serves people every day and allows him to continuously learn and master new skills. With a natural ability to pick things up quickly and understand complex systems, HVAC was the perfect fit. Before joining Quality, Anthony built a diverse background in the trades. He spent six years as a professional detail painter with J&B Painting and worked as a contracted painter for Macy’s locations throughout Northeast Ohio. He also gained experience in commercial roofing as a heat detailer. Combined with hands-on HVAC training and ongoing research, Anthony has developed a well-rounded technical foundation that serves homeowners well. What Anthony loves most about working at Quality is the team atmosphere. He describes it as being part of a family surrounded by supportive, hardworking people who truly enjoy what they do. For him, it’s refreshing to be part of a company where the culture is positive, the teamwork is strong, and coming to work feels rewarding. Family is incredibly important to Anthony. He is very close with his grandfather and dad, and he also shares a strong connection with his girlfriend’s family, spending a lot of time with her parents and stepmother. Outside of work, Anthony enjoys cooking, watching movies, playing games in his downtime, and spending quality time with his girlfriend. At home, he’s also the proud owner of two “evil” gerbil babies (Mozzarella and Pepper) who love to snuggle together. Anthony is proud to be part of Team Quality and looks forward to continuing to serve homeowners with professionalism, integrity, and care.

Cody Ocel started with Quality in 2012 in our installation department and quickly moved into a NATE Service Technician position after showing much skill in diagnostics. Cody is from Minerva, Ohio and while growing up he learned repairing farm machinery and constructed dairy housing and feeding systems. Because of his love for mechanics, he decided to get his education in the HVAC Industry. Cody received his HVAC education from Buckeye Career Center and since graduation he has earned his NATE Certification. Cody is married to his lovely wife, Terri, and they have a beautiful daughter, Elsie, who is four years old! In his free time, Cody enjoys fixing up motorcycles and dirt bikes.

Donald McClelland grew up in Louisville and now lives in Canton, Ohio! Originally in the automotive industry for 18 years he was looking for a career change when he chose the HVAC industry. He was an installer for two years and then became a service technician through on the job training. He likes working for Quality because he says the people are friendly. He has been married for 18 years and has four children including a set of twins! A fun fact about Donald is that he raises chickens and has honey bee hives from which he collects his own honey.

Fred is one of Quality’s top technicians with a wide variety of service areas. Fred was born and raised in Massillon. His extensive training started at R.G Drage Technical Career Center. He then achieved his N.A.T.E Certification along with on the job training. He chose this career because he enjoys having the ability to repair things and fulfilling his customer’s needs. Fred likes working for Quality because of the people he works with every day and he enjoys seeing his customers on a regular basis. Fred is married and has a son with one cat and one dog. I enjoy working around the house and spending time with friends and family.

Born in Salem, Ohio, and now calling Sebring, Ohio home, Jake Funk brings heart, hustle, and a genuine desire to serve others to the Quality Heating & Cooling team. Jake was drawn to the HVAC industry because he wanted more than just a job, he wanted a career that truly helps people. For him, HVAC isn’t just about equipment. It’s about providing comfort, security, and peace of mind to families who rely on their heating and cooling systems every single day. The stability of the industry and the opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives made it the perfect fit. To prepare for his role, Jake attended Stark State College’s HVAC program, where he built a strong technical foundation in heating and cooling systems. He also completed electrical schooling, giving him a well-rounded understanding of the systems he works with. His education, paired with hands-on experience, allows him to approach maintenance calls with confidence, precision, and a problem-solving mindset. What Jake appreciates most about working at Quality Heating & Cooling is the culture. He describes it as a true family environment, one built on respect, kindness, and trust. “We don’t yell or berate,” he says. “We treat each other with the utmost kindness, and I feel like I can trust every person I work with.” That supportive atmosphere reflects the company’s commitment to not only serving customers well, but also taking care of the team behind the scenes. Family is important to Jake. While he describes his family as “not too big,” it’s filled with everything that matters including fun, love, good times, and genuine care for one another. That same sense of loyalty and care carries over into how he treats customers in their homes. Outside of work, Jake stays active and disciplined. He enjoys lifting weights as often as he can and running when the weather cooperates. He also spends time skateboarding and longboarding, hobbies that reflect his energy and balance. Whether it’s in the gym, on the pavement, or on the job, Jake brings focus and dedication to everything he does. As a Maintenance Technician, Jake is committed to helping homeowners stay comfortable year-round. With strong technical training, a service-first mindset, and the support of a team that feels like family, he’s proud to be part of delivering the dependable, award-winning service that customers expect from Quality Heating & Cooling.

John DiMaria is originally from Liberia and came to the USA as a little boy having been adopted by an American family in the Carolina’s. After moving to North Canton with his parents he continued to pursue music and studied piano performance at the Cleveland Institute of Music and performed locally. Realizing the challenges with making a career in musical performance during the pandemic, he joined Quality Heating & Cooling and completed the excellent apprenticeship program. He says, “I enjoy the work and the opportunity to meet and help customers. I see much potential with Quality Heating and Cooling as a HVAC company and will continue to build my career with them going forward.” John lives in North Canton with his beautiful wife and young daughter along with a dog and cats. In his spare time, he enjoys completing DIY projects around his home as well as continuing his passion for music by composing, playing and recording his own original materials.

John Riley attended Fortis College to learn the HVAC trade. He was drawn to this industry because of the fact that heating and cooling will always be here as a career. He says that he likes working for Quality Heating & Cooling because it’s a good environment with great people, ownership and management. John lives in Brimfield, Ohio with his wife. They have two kids and two grandkids. When not at work, John enjoys coaching football and wrestling. He also enjoys spending time with his wife in his free time.

Joseph was born in Orlando but now calls Uniontown his home. He became interested in the HVAC Industry because of the challenge it presents and the technical understanding that is required. He chose to work at Quality Heating & Cooling because it feels like a family and everybody is willing to help each other out. Joseph is married with no kids and no pets and he loves spending time with his family when not at work.

Born and raised in Portage Lakes, Wade Beck brings a hands-on passion for learning and connection to his role as a service technician at Quality Heating & Cooling. He got his start in the industry early, attending the HVAC program at Portage Lakes Career Center while still in high school—setting the foundation for a career where every day brings something new. What drew Wade to HVAC? “I wanted to learn something new every day and meet new people every day,” he says—and that curiosity and drive continue to fuel his work. Since joining the team at Quality, Wade has found more than just a workplace—he’s found a second family. “Here, you’re treated like family, not just an employee,” he shares. Wade comes from a close-knit family, including both of his parents and a sister. Outside of work, you’ll find him immersed in the great outdoors—he enjoys cars, ATVs, motorcycles, boating, fishing, and just about anything that involves nature and adventure. With a strong work ethic, friendly attitude, and love for helping people, Wade is a valued part of Team Quality—bringing skill and heart to every service call.
